Relaxing Day

It's been a relaxing day!! I've had the house to myself so I have caught up on movies and other things I have wanted to do. Wish I could do this more often!

ZZ Top & Lynyrd Skynyrd

Last night I went to the ZZ Top & Lynyrd Skynyrd concert. It was so much fun!! I have to say ZZ Top has the sweetest FFA jackets I have ever seen!!

Is anyone else having a problem uploading their assignment onto carmen or in an email because their assignment is too big? I don't know what to do, any suggestions? Its within the time limit, so I don't want to shorten it...

Registering for classes

I was so annoyed on saturday when I got an email from registration asking me if I was planning on attending OSU in the fall because my window had been open for days... Too bad they didn't send me an email telling me when my window was open! But luckily I was able to get into all my classes, so I WILL be graduating in March!! :-)

Groom's Cake

I made a grooms cake for my roommate's wedding this weekend. It was osu and red's themed. After finishing this cake, it just motivates me even more to make a career out of this.

Babies

What a great weekend!!! I have met 5 newborns since saturday!! My friend Julie had her baby Allie two weeks ago, my cousin Heather had her baby Haylynn wednesday, my Aunt Jackie had her twins Vincent and Violet on friday, and my Aunt Kelly had Kensley last night!! I can't wait to baby sit!! :-)

Early Classes

Summer

Ready to head home for the summer... These next few weeks need to fly by so I can spend some much needed time with my family. Luckily I get to work from home this summer and spend as much time with my little brother as possible before I graduate in March!

Mary Poppins

I had the opportunity to go see Mary Poppins with my family at the Ohio Theatre. It was an awesome show. I saw it in New York 4 years ago, but I forgot how amazing the show was. Growing up Mary Poppins was one of my favorite movies, so watching it come to life was like being a little girl again.

I am really tired of this weather... I am ready for it to be sunny and warm. The weather really needs to stop being bipolar! I am ready to be able to go home and ride, but with these ridiculous windy rainy days do not allow it.

This weekend I had the pleasure of watching all three of my nephews. They are 2 months, 1 year, and 5 years old. They are all very good, but talk about being worn out... So glad I am just the aunt!! :-)

A good nights sleep

Project Open Hands

For my EDU PL 271 class I have to volunteer at Project Open Hands. This organization provides counseling and a pantry for HIV/AIDS patients in the columbus area. Over the quarter I have to volunteer for 30 hours. I was apprehensive at first because it is out of my comfort zone but all of the people I will be working with are very nice and try to explain what I will be seeing. Some of the patients are what you would expect, but there are many patients that you would never suspect to have to use services from a program like this.
